If you lot know this incantation (and I do!), yous're probably a MAC gal or guy, and if you are, then it'due south OK to freak out a little (go ahead, I'll wait), considering MAC but dropped 3 new MAC Girls Palettes into the permanent line. They also brought dorsum the half dozen they launched last year.
So aye, at present you can get them whenever you want. They're $39.fifty each and available online and at "select" MAC stores, which is MAC lawmaking for "better phone call your local counter to check first."
This one is Risk Taker, and it riffs on some MAC permanent colors I've loved for years. Like, Bossing It looks a little like Woodwinked, Outfitted looks kinda similar Honeylust, and Risky Business is like the more sparkly version of Satin Taupe. The whole matter spoke to my soul when I opened it for the first time, so of form I automatically assumed I'd have a proficient time with it.
And I did… Generally.
I wore information technology for the first time yesterday, and I'll start by proverb that the shadows swatch beautifully. That'due south for sure. They're ridiculously, shockingly soft, and I tin't believe how easily they scoot across my skin, but handle the pans carefully, because an errant poke with a fingernail or brush is sure to cause a dent.
Virtually the softness, though…it might be why I ran into some trouble with this palette.
Well, peradventure not trouble. More than like hurdles? — as in a whole agglomeration of tiny powder particles all over the place, a.m.a. fallout. ? Every bit I swept my eyeshadow brushes across the pans, this happened…
Kinda messy, right? That'll end up all over your confront if you forget to tap off your brush.
The shimmers are too Actually shiny. They push the boundaries of what I'm comfortable wearing on my lids. You probably couldn't tell from across a room, but I feel similar my lids look heavier and older when I clothing them (although I recognize that I'm currently feeling a piddling touchy virtually my fine lines).
For real, though, who's gonna be THIS Close to your eyeballs unless y'all're making out with them? And in that case, they'll probably have their eyes closed.
Anyway, my point is that the shimmers are borderline frosty, which could be an event…depending on how you wait at it.
So, I thought I'd fall instantly in dearest with this palette considering of the color combo, and I exercise similar how soft the shadows are, but I think this i will take a couple more looks to brand a last call. I definitely like the colors enough to do that.
